Assumptions and limits
Wealthcast uses a simplified model of investment growth, inflation, spending, tax, pensions, and liabilities. Real life is messier than any model, and actual outcomes will differ from the illustrations shown.
Even small changes to returns, inflation, tax rules, timing, life events, or the information entered into the app can materially change the results.
Foresight commentary may also summarise, simplify, or misstate part of the underlying picture, especially where AI is used to polish wording. Important decisions should be checked against the actual figures and assumptions shown in the app.
