1 Who we are

We are Wealthcast Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 17455947 and registered office at 128 City Road, London, United Kingdom, EC1V 2NX. In these Terms, “Wealthcast”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Wealthcast Ltd. You can find out more about us and our services at https://wealthcast.app.

2 These terms

2.1 These terms (the “Terms”) set out the agreement between you and Wealthcast. These Terms also incorporate our pricing page at https://wealthcast.app/pricing (the “Pricing Page”), which sets out the Free Features, Pro Features, subscription types, Subscription Fees and related terms referred to elsewhere in these Terms, as updated from time to time. These Terms govern your access to and use of our website and app, and the services provided through them (the “Platform”). Please take some time to read and understand them. By checking the acceptance box linking these Terms, you agree to be bound by them from that point in time (the “Start Date”).

2.2 Please also read our privacy notice available at https://wealthcast.app/privacy (the “Privacy Notice”) and our cookie notice available at https://wealthcast.app/cookies (the “Cookie Notice”) for details of how and on what basis we collect information about you.

2.3 Our website terms at https://wealthcast.app/website-terms (the “Website Terms”) also apply when you use our public website. If these Terms and the Website Terms conflict, these Terms take priority for your Account, the app and Subscriptions.

3 Who can use the Platform

3.1 You may use the Platform if you are a consumer who is resident in the United Kingdom. You are a consumer if you are acting wholly or mainly outside your trade, business, craft or profession in using the Platform.

3.2 You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform.

4 Your Account

You will need to set up an account with us (an “Account”) to use the Platform. To do this, you will need to give us certain details (including your email address) and sign in with Google, with Apple or with a link we email to you. You can also add a passkey. Your Account is personal to you and you must not share your sign-in method with anyone else or let anyone else use your Account. You must keep your sign-in method, and the email account you use to sign in, secure. Everything done through your Account is your responsibility, and you must let us know straight away if you think someone has accessed your Account without your permission.

5 Your obligations

5.1 You may access and use the Platform in accordance with these Terms and the Privacy Notice.

5.2 You may not or help anyone else to:

  1. (a) use the Platform for anything that is unlawful, harmful or abusive;
  2. (b) use the Platform in a way that infringes anyone else’s rights, including their intellectual property rights;
  3. (c) copy, modify, adapt, translate, republish, download, display, transmit or distribute any part of the Platform;
  4. (d) attempt to or assist anyone to de-compile, disassemble or otherwise reduce to human-readable form any part of the Platform;
  5. (e) interfere with or disrupt the Platform or the systems or networks used to provide it (for example by introducing viruses, malware or other harmful code);
  6. (f) rely on the Platform to make regulated financial, investment, tax or legal decisions;
  7. (g) access any part of the Platform to build a product or service which competes with the Platform; or
  8. (h) try to gain unauthorised access to the Platform, to any account other than your own, or to any of our systems.

5.3 We may check compliance with these Terms, and we may take action if you break them. This includes suspending or ending your access to the Platform where you have misused the Platform, broken these Terms, or where suspension is needed to deal with a serious or imminent security risk. Where we suspend your access, we will try to keep the suspension proportionate and to let you know as soon as we reasonably can.

5.4 You confirm that the Inputs you provide are accurate to the best of your knowledge, and that where your Inputs include personal data relating to another individual (for example, a partner, spouse or dependant included as part of your financial plan), you have the right to provide that data to us and, where required by law, that individual’s knowledge or, if applicable, consent.

6 Free Features

Some features of the Platform are available to you without charge. You can see which features these are on the Pricing Page. We refer to these as the “Free Features”.

7 Subscriptions

7.1 You can choose to buy a subscription (a “Subscription”) at any time by following the sign-up steps on the Platform. A Subscription gives you access to additional features (the “Pro Features”). Details of the Pro Features, the Subscription types we offer and the fees (including any applicable taxes) for each are set out on the Pricing Page.

7.2 Your order for a Subscription will be treated as an offer by you to enter a Subscription with us. We accept your order when your payment is successfully taken, and these Terms will become legally binding on you and us for that Subscription at that point. We will then send you an email confirming your Subscription. Each Subscription will incorporate these Terms.

7.3 Sometimes we reject orders, for example because you are located outside the UK or because the product was mispriced by us. When this happens, we let you know as soon as possible and refund any sums you have paid.

8 Subscription term and automatic renewal

8.1 The Pricing Page tells you which Subscription types are available and how much they cost. If your Subscription is recurring and has a minimum term (the “Initial Term”), we will tell you what it is during the order process. Your Subscription will run for the Initial Term and will then renew automatically for further periods of the same length (each a “Renewal Term”). It will keep renewing, and you will be charged for each Renewal Term, until you cancel it.

8.2 Where your Subscription is a one-off purchase, the Pricing Page will also state a reference term for that Subscription (the “Reference Term”), reflecting the period of access the Subscription Fee is intended to cover. This is relevant to how any refund is calculated if you cancel that Subscription under clause 12.3.

8.3 You can switch your Subscription between monthly and annual billing from Billing and subscription in your Wealthcast profile. If you move from monthly to annual, the change takes effect straight away: we charge the annual Subscription Fee, less a credit for the unused part of your current month, and your annual Renewal Term runs from the date of the change. If you move from annual to monthly, the change takes effect at the end of the annual period you have already paid for. Nothing is charged when you make that change, and your Pro Features continue until then. Switching does not affect your right to cancel under clause 11.

9 Subscription Fees

9.1 Where you purchase a Subscription, you agree to pay the fees (including any applicable taxes) shown on our Pricing Page (the “Subscription Fees”). The Pricing Page sets out the fees for each Subscription type and how and when they are payable. Except as expressly provided in these Terms or where required by law, all payments are non-refundable.

9.2 You will pay for your Subscription using the payment method available at the point you sign up. Depending on how you access the Platform, this may be:

  1. (a) a payment method processed on our behalf by a third-party payment provider; or
  2. (b) a payment method processed by a distributor (an “App Store”).

9.3 By purchasing a Subscription, you authorise the payment provider or App Store (as applicable) to charge the Subscription Fees to your chosen payment method in accordance with the Pricing Page and the applicable Subscription type. In particular:

  1. (a) where your Subscription is a one-off purchase, you agree that the full Subscription Fee will be charged up front at the point you take out the Subscription; and
  2. (b) where your Subscription is recurring, you agree that the Subscription Fees will be charged up front at the start of the Initial Term and at the start of each Renewal Term, until you cancel your Subscription in accordance with these Terms.

9.4 You confirm that you are entitled to use the payment method you provide, and you will be responsible for any losses we reasonably incur if you use a payment method you are not authorised to use.

9.5 Where you pay through an App Store, that App Store’s own payment, billing, cancellation and refund terms will apply in addition to these Terms. If there is a conflict between these Terms and the App Store’s terms in relation to payment, the App Store’s terms will apply to that extent, except that this does not reduce your right to cancel and receive a refund under clause 11.

9.6 You agree that we are not responsible for acts or omissions of a third-party payment provider or an App Store in processing your payments.

10 Changes to Subscription Fees

We may update the Subscription Fees for Subscriptions at any time, subject to not less than 30 days’ notice before any change in fees takes effect. Where your Subscription is recurring, any such change shall take effect from the start of the first Renewal Term commencing after expiry of the notice period. If you do not want to continue at the new price, you can cancel your Subscription at any time before the change takes effect.

11 Your 14-day right to change your mind

11.1 Where you have purchased a Subscription, you may cancel your Subscription within 14 days of entering into the Subscription without giving a reason. Where you purchased a Subscription via our Platform, you can cancel your Subscription by following the cancellation instructions on the Platform. Where you purchased a Subscription via an App Store, you will need to cancel your Subscription by following the App Store’s terms. You may also cancel by sending us a clear statement of cancellation by email to hello@wealthcast.app or by post to Wealthcast Ltd, 128 City Road, London, United Kingdom, EC1V 2NX.

11.2 We will refund you all payments received from you for the cancelled Subscription, with no deduction for any use of the Platform, and your access to the Pro Features will end. We will refund you as soon as possible and within 14 days of you telling us you’ve changed your mind. We will refund you by the method you used for payment. If you paid through Google Play, we will issue the refund through Google Play. If you paid through the Apple App Store, Apple handles refunds, so you will need to request the refund from Apple; if Apple does not refund you, we will refund you directly. We don’t charge a fee for the refund.

11.3 If you ask us to begin providing the Platform during the 14-day cancellation period, you may do so by using the Platform. If you then cancel the Subscription within the 14-day period, you will still be entitled to a full refund, and we will not make any deduction for the access you have received.

11.4 However you paid, it is enough to send us any clear statement that you want to cancel, by email or by post as set out in clause 11.1, before the 14-day period ends. You may use the model cancellation form in Schedule 1, but you do not have to.

12 Cancelling a Subscription

12.1 You may cancel your Subscription at any time. Where you purchased a Subscription via our Platform, you can cancel your Subscription by following the cancellation instructions on the Platform, or by sending us a clear statement of cancellation by email to hello@wealthcast.app or by post to Wealthcast Ltd, 128 City Road, London, United Kingdom, EC1V 2NX. Where you purchased a Subscription via an App Store, you will need to cancel your Subscription by following the App Store’s terms. This does not affect your right to cancel within 14 days under clause 11.4.

12.2 If you cancel your Subscription, you will keep access to the Pro Features until the end of the term you have already paid for, but we will not refund the fees for that term (except where clause 11.1 applies or you have other legal rights to a refund).

12.3 Where your Subscription is a one-off purchase, if you cancel outside the 14-day period in clause 11, your access to the Pro Features will cease and we will refund you a proportionate amount of the Subscription Fee. That amount is calculated as the Subscription Fee multiplied by the proportion of the Reference Term (see clause 8) that remains unused as at the date you cancel. No refund is due if you cancel after the Reference Term has elapsed.

13 Third party providers

13.1 The Platform may include, link to, or work alongside content, services or integrations provided by third parties (“Third-Party Content”). We do not control or accept responsibility for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of any Third-Party Content. We make no representations or warranties in respect of any Third-Party Content, services or integrations. Your use of any Third-Party Content, services, and integrations is at your own risk and subject to any terms, conditions, or policies (including privacy policies) applicable to such Third-Party Content. For example, our Foresight feature (see clause 16) is powered in part by services provided by OpenAI, a third-party AI provider that is not affiliated with us.

14 Data protection

14.1 We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Our Privacy Notice sets out in full how we collect, use, share and safeguard personal data, including the personal data we share with third-party service providers (such as OpenAI in connection with Foresight, as described in clause 16) and the safeguards that apply where personal data is transferred outside the UK. If you input personal data relating to another individual into the Platform (for example, details of a partner or dependant as part of your financial plan), you confirm that you have the right to do so and, where required by law, that individual’s knowledge or consent.

15 Intellectual property rights

15.1 We and/or our providers own all intellectual property rights in and to the Platform. Nothing in these Terms gives you any rights in the Platform, other than the right to use it as set out in these Terms.

15.2 You may enter information, data or other content into the Platform (“Inputs”). You keep all intellectual property rights you have in your Inputs. You have responsibility for the legality, reliability, integrity, accuracy and quality of your Inputs. You must also ensure that you have all necessary rights, licences and permissions to provide the Inputs into the Platform.

15.3 The Platform generates illustrations, visualisations, reports, charts, analyses, commentary, responses to your questions and other content based on your Inputs (including any content generated by the Foresight feature as set out in clause 16) (“Outputs”).

15.4 As between you and us, you own the Outputs. To the extent any intellectual property rights in the Outputs would otherwise belong to us, we assign them to you with effect from the moment they are created. Where that assignment is not effective as a matter of law, we grant you a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable licence to use the Outputs for any lawful purpose.

15.5 You grant us a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, royalty-free licence to use your Inputs and Outputs to the extent we reasonably need to provide the Platform to you, keep the Platform secure and prevent misuse, and comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.

16 Foresight

16.1 Foresight (“Foresight”) is an optional feature of the Platform that uses artificial intelligence to summarise your roadmap and outcomes, explain what stands out, and answer follow-up questions.

16.2 Where you ask Foresight to change your plan, Foresight will show you the proposed change first, and no change will take effect unless you confirm it. You can undo a confirmed change as long as your plan has not changed since you confirmed it; after that, you can change your plan back yourself. You remain responsible for reviewing any proposed change before you confirm it, and any change to your plan that you confirm through Foresight takes effect as if you had made it yourself.

16.3 Foresight is off by default. You can turn Foresight on at any time in the Platform. Before you use Foresight for the first time, we will ask you to confirm that you understand what Foresight is, how it works and its limits, and that you consent to the information described in clause 16.4 being shared with OpenAI for the purpose of generating your Foresight summaries and answers. You can turn Foresight off at any time by disabling it in the Platform.

16.4 Foresight is powered in part by third-party AI services provided by OpenAI. When you use Foresight, we send OpenAI limited information derived from your plan (such as ages, projections, tax rates and success probabilities) and any follow-up questions you type, so that OpenAI can generate a response. We remove personal identifiers we can detect before sending this information. Please do not include names or account details in your questions. We do not deliberately send names, email addresses, account numbers, notes, raw transactions or transaction history. OpenAI confirms that data sent through its API is not used to train or improve its models by default, although data may still be handled under OpenAI’s API data controls (available at https://developers.openai.com/api/docs/guides/your-data). OpenAI processes the information we send it to generate the summaries and responses provided to you within Foresight and to keep its service safe and lawful, and we do not authorise it to use that information for any other purpose. Because OpenAI’s servers are located outside the UK, sending this information involves a transfer of data outside the UK. Our Privacy Notice explains the safeguards we put in place for this transfer.

16.5 We keep your most recent Foresight summary and Foresight chat threads so that you can reopen them when you return. Our Privacy Notice explains how we store and use this information, how long we keep it for, and how you can request deletion.

16.6 Foresight depends on the continued availability of OpenAI’s services and is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that Foresight will be uninterrupted, error-free or available at all times, and we may suspend, restrict or discontinue Foresight (in whole or in part) at any time, including where OpenAI changes, suspends or discontinues the underlying service to us, or where we reasonably consider it necessary for security, legal or commercial reasons. Where reasonably practicable, we will give you advance notice before doing so. Turning off or losing access to Foresight will not affect your access to the rest of the Platform.

17 Outputs and disclaimers

17.1 The Platform and its Outputs do not constitute, and are not intended to be regulated financial advice, legal advice, tax advice or a recommendation as to what action you should take, what product you should choose, or what outcome you can expect. You acknowledge that some Outputs are generated by artificial intelligence and may contain inaccuracies, misstatements or omissions, even where they appear detailed or specific.

17.2 Nothing on the Platform should be treated as telling you what you should do with your money, investments, pension, property or tax position. You must also not represent Outputs as financial or professional advice, as error-free or authoritative, or as a substitute for your own independent judgement.

17.3 If you need advice about any of these matters, you should speak to an appropriately qualified professional. Free and impartial guidance is also available from MoneyHelper (www.moneyhelper.org.uk), and a regulated financial adviser can advise you on your personal circumstances.

17.4 Nothing in these Terms affect your legal rights in relation to the Platform. Subject to these rights, you remain responsible for:

  1. (a) making sure that the Inputs you enter are accurate, complete and appropriate for your circumstances;
  2. (b) reviewing and verifying Outputs before relying on or acting upon them; and
  3. (c) any decisions you (or anyone else) make in reliance on Outputs.

17.5 Because Foresight is powered in part by a third-party AI provider (OpenAI), we do not control and cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness or reliability of any Outputs it generates, even though we take reasonable steps in how we use it. Outputs generated through Foresight may be incorrect, incomplete or out of date, and you should not treat them as more reliable than any other Output. If you notice anything in a Foresight response that appears wrong or does not match your plan, please rely on the underlying plan data shown on the Platform, or contact us.

18 Limitation of liability

18.1 You have legal rights in relation to the Platform, including the right to have the Platform supplied with reasonable care and skill and, where we have not agreed a time for performance, within a reasonable time. Other than these legal rights and except as otherwise expressly and specifically provided in these Terms:

  1. (a) all warranties, representations, conditions and all other terms of any kind whatsoever implied by statute or common law are, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, excluded from these Terms;
  2. (b) the Platform is provided to you on an “as is” basis; and
  3. (c) we do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free.

18.2 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, breach of the terms implied by sections 49 and 52 of the Consumer Rights Act 2015, or any matter in respect of which it would be unlawful for us to exclude or restrict our liability. In particular, nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for breach of the statutory rights implied by the Consumer Rights Act 2015 in relation to services, including our obligation to supply the Platform with reasonable care and skill.

18.3 Subject to clause 18.2, if we fail to comply with these Terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our negligence, but we are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it was an obvious consequence of a breach or if it was contemplated by you and us at the Start Date.

18.4 You agree not to use the Platform for any commercial or business purposes and we have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.

18.5 Except as otherwise set out in this clause 18, our total aggregate liability to you, in respect of all defaults shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid for access to or use of the Platform in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the liability, and (b) £100.

18.6 Without limiting clause 18.5, where any loss or damage you suffer arises from an act, omission, error or unavailability of OpenAI or any other third-party service provider integrated with the Platform (rather than from our own breach of these Terms or our own negligence), we are not liable for that loss or damage, save to the extent we are liable for our own acts or omissions in selecting, instructing or overseeing that provider.

19 Termination

19.1 We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform, or terminate these Terms, at any time without notice to you if:

  1. (a) you have materially breached these Terms;
  2. (b) we must do so in order to comply with applicable law; or
  3. (c) immediate suspension or termination is necessary for security reasons and therefore we cannot provide notice.

19.2 We may also terminate your access to the Platform and these Terms if you have been inactive for over a year and you do not have a Subscription. If we decide to terminate your access due to inactivity, we will give you advance notice before doing this.

19.3 If we terminate your access to the Platform or terminate these Terms due to a material breach of these Terms and you have a Subscription, you will not be entitled to any refund.

19.4 If you have a recurring Subscription, we may terminate your access to the Platform or these Terms at any time by giving you 30 days’ notice in writing, email being sufficient. If we exercise this right, we will refund you on a pro rata basis the fees paid by you for the remaining portion of your Subscription after termination.

19.5 Where we exercise a right of suspension under these Terms, we will try to ensure that any suspension is proportionate and time-limited. We shall notify you as soon as reasonably practicable of any suspension and the reasons for it.

19.6 On termination of your access to the Platform or these Terms for any reason:

  1. (a) all rights granted under these Terms will immediately terminate and you must immediately stop using the Platform; and
  2. (b) we may at our election delete all your Inputs, Outputs or other data, except as otherwise required by law.

19.7 The provisions of clause 15, clause 16.5, clause 18, clause 19.6, this clause 19.7, clause 23.5, and any other provisions which by their nature are intended to survive, shall survive the termination or expiry of these Terms for any reason.

20 Changes to, or discontinuation of, the Platform

20.1 We may amend the Platform, for example by adding or removing features or increasing or decreasing capacity limits. We may modify or suspend the Platform or your access to the Platform, including by taking such action as we consider appropriate to address any security, performance or trust and safety issue.

20.2 Where our actions may materially impact your use of the Platform, we will try to provide you with at least 30 days’ notice. However, there may be urgent situations (such as preventing abuse, responding to legal requirements, or addressing security and operability issues) where providing advance notice is not feasible. If you do not wish to continue using the Platform following any changes to the Platform, you can terminate these Terms or cancel your Subscription, before the changes take effect. If you exercise this termination right and you have a recurring Subscription, we will refund to you a portion of the fees paid by you that are for the portion of your Subscription purchased remaining after termination of your Subscription occurs.

20.3 We may decide to discontinue the Platform, but if we do and you have a recurring Subscription, we will give you advance notice and we will refund you on a pro rata basis the fees paid by you for the remaining portion of your Subscription after termination.

21 Changes to these Terms

21.1 We may amend these Terms to reflect changes in the Platform, for security or legal reasons, or for safety and abuse prevention.

21.2 We will notify you of changes to these Terms which are reasonably likely to affect your use of the Platform or legal rights. These changes will take effect no less than 30 days from when we notify you, except where the change is due to a change in law or for security reasons (in which case we may need to change these Terms on shorter notice).

21.3 If you do not wish to continue using the Platform following any changes to these Terms, you can terminate these Terms or cancel your Subscription, before the changes take effect. If you exercise this termination right and you have a recurring Subscription, we will refund you on a pro rata basis the fees paid by you for the remaining portion of your Subscription after termination.

22 How to contact us and how we will contact you

22.1 If you need to contact us. You can contact us at any time by:

  1. (a) emailing us at hello@wealthcast.app;
  2. (b) writing to us at Wealthcast Ltd, 128 City Road, London, United Kingdom, EC1V 2NX; or
  3. (c) calling us on +44 1225 615659.

22.2 If we need to contact you, we will do so by email, using the email address linked to your Account. You are responsible for keeping your Account email address up to date. If a notice does not reach you because your email address is out of date or incorrect, that is not our responsibility.

22.3 We want you to be happy with the Platform. If you have a complaint, please contact us at hello@wealthcast.app and we will do our best to resolve the issue quickly. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can also seek advice about your legal rights as a consumer from your local Citizens Advice Bureau (www.citizensadvice.org.uk) or Trading Standards office. If your complaint relates to a purchase made through an App Store, you may also be able to raise it with that App Store under its own complaints or refund process.

23 General terms

23.1 Even if we delay in enforcing these Terms, we can still enforce them later. We might not immediately chase you for not doing something (like paying) or for doing something you’re not allowed to, but that doesn’t mean we can’t do it later.

23.2 If a court or other authority decides that some of these Terms are unlawful, the rest will continue to apply.

23.3 We can transfer our contract with you, so that a different organisation is responsible for supplying the Platform. We’ll tell you in writing if this happens and we’ll ensure that the transfer won’t affect your rights under the contract. You can only transfer your contract with us to someone else if we agree to this.

23.4 Nobody else has any rights under these Terms. These Terms are between you and us. Nobody else can enforce them and neither of us will need to ask anybody else to sign-off on ending or changing these Terms.

23.5 These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes or claims), are governed by the law of England and Wales, and wherever you live you can bring claims against us in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring claims against us in the courts of the country you live in. We can claim against you in the courts of the country you live in.

Terms for specific features

Clauses 24 to 31 cover specific features of the Platform. They form part of these Terms. In these clauses, “Pro” means the Pro Features.

24 Plan sharing

24.1 You can invite one other person, such as your partner, to share your plan. Plan sharing needs cloud storage. We send the invitation to the email address you give us, and it expires after 72 hours.

24.2 Before joining, the person you invite must accept the plan-sharing terms shown in the Platform. Once they join, you both see the same plan data, including income, pensions, assets, balances, snapshots and scenarios. Changes made to the shared plan affect you both. Each of you keeps your own sign-in details.

24.3 The person who sent the invitation is the household owner. The household owner decides whether the other member has full edit access or view-only access, and can remove the other member. The other member can leave at any time. The household owner can leave after passing ownership to the other member.

24.4 A member who leaves or is removed stops seeing the shared plan and starts again with their own. The shared plan stays with the household. If the household owner deletes their Account while the other member remains, that member becomes the household owner and keeps the shared plan.

24.5 One Subscription covers your household, so both members can use the Pro Features. Each member decides separately whether to use Foresight.

25 AI assistant connections

25.1 You can connect a compatible AI assistant, such as ChatGPT or Claude, to your Account from Connected AI apps in your profile. The AI assistant is Third-Party Content under clause 13, and its provider’s own terms and privacy policy apply to it.

25.2 The connection lets the AI assistant read parts of your plan and projections. You need the Pro Features to create a new connection. Without them, an existing connection keeps working but can read less, and cannot make the changes described below. If you have the Pro Features and allow it when you connect, the AI assistant can also draft scenarios, save new scenarios to your Account and propose changes to your plan or balances. A proposed change has no effect unless you open it in Wealthcast and confirm it within one hour. You are responsible for checking a proposed change before you confirm it. A scenario or change the AI assistant drafts reflects its choices, not a recommendation from us. You can delete a saved scenario at any time. In a shared plan, only a member with full edit access can allow these changes. The connection cannot move money, arrange a transaction or select a financial product. It needs cloud storage and cannot read a plan kept only on your device.

25.3Wealthcast supplies information about your plan; anything your AI assistant tells you is not from Wealthcast and is not financial advice.

25.4 You can disconnect an AI assistant at any time from your profile. Disconnecting stops it making further requests to Wealthcast. It does not delete information already in your conversations with the AI assistant; use the AI provider’s own controls for those. Our Privacy Notice explains what we keep about each connection.

26 Referral programme

26.1 In this clause 26, “these terms” means the referral programme terms set out in this clause.These terms apply when you share your personal referral code or use a referral or Wealthcast campaign code.

26.2If you share your personal code

  • You receive one free calendar month of Pro when an eligible new customer uses your code and finishes setting up their plan.
  • You can earn up to three free months in total.
  • If your household already has Pro, we’ll save your free month and start it automatically when your current Pro access ends.
  • If the person you referred deletes their account within 14 days, any free month you earned from that referral that has not started will be cancelled. A free month that has already started will not be taken away.

26.3If you use a referral or campaign code

  • You must be a new Wealthcast customer and add the code during sign-up or while setting up your plan, within seven days of creating your account.
  • You can receive only one new-customer reward.
  • A personal referral code gives you and the person who referred you one free calendar month of Pro. A Wealthcast campaign code gives only you the reward shown when the code is accepted. That reward may be a free month or lifetime Pro.
  • If your household already has Pro, we’ll save your free month and start it automatically when your current Pro access ends.
  • Starting a paid subscription during a free referral month ends that free month, including any unused time.
  • If you delete your account within 14 days, any free month from your referral that has not started will be cancelled for both you and the person who shared their code.
  • An invalid or ineligible code will not prevent you from creating an account or using the Free plan.

26.4 Rewards cannot be exchanged for cash, sold, or transferred.

26.5 We may refuse or cancel rewards if these terms are not met or we reasonably believe the programme has been misused.

26.6 For the FOUNDING50 campaign, the first 50 eligible new accounts whose claims are accepted reserve the 50 places. A place is reserved only after the eligibility check succeeds. An accepted place is not made available again if setup is abandoned, the reward is later revoked, or the account is deleted.

26.7 FOUNDING50 lifetime Pro starts after you finish setting up your first plan and balance snapshot. It lasts while your account remains open and Wealthcast continues to operate Pro. It does not guarantee that today’s Pro feature list will never change.

26.8 Deleting your account ends the reward.

26.9 A lifetime Pro reward remains available alongside a paid subscription, but it does not automatically cancel or refund that subscription. You remain responsible for managing an existing subscription.

26.10 We may change, pause, or end the programme. A free month or lifetime Pro reward already accepted will remain available unless it is cancelled under these terms.

26.11 Our Privacy Notice explains how we use and keep referral information.

27 Founder session

27.1Pro includes one 25-minute session with the founder for your household.Either household member can arrange the session, and both can attend.

27.2 You arrange the session through Microsoft Bookings, and it takes place on Microsoft Teams. Sessions depend on the founder's available appointment times. A booking-link click does not reserve a time. Our Privacy Notice explains how booking and meeting details are handled.

27.3The session helps you use Wealthcast and understand its projections. It does not provide financial advice or a personal recommendation. If you need advice, see clause 17.3.

28 App Store purchases

28.1 If you subscribe in our iOS or Android app, you buy your Subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play, each an App Store under clause 9.2(b). The App Store shows you the price before you buy and takes your payment. We use a service provider, RevenueCat, to confirm your purchase and give you access to the Pro Features.

28.2 To stop an App Store Subscription renewing, use the subscription settings of the App Store you bought it from. Clause 11 sets out your right to cancel within 14 days and how refunds work for App Store purchases.

29 Closing your account

29.1 You can stop using Wealthcast and close or delete your account at any time from your Wealthcast profile. When your account is closed or deleted, we handle your data as described in our Privacy Notice. Our Delete your Wealthcast account page explains the steps.

29.2 Deleting your account cancels a Subscription you bought on our website. It does not cancel a Subscription bought through the Apple App Store or Google Play, so cancel that in the App Store first. When you delete your account, Pro ends straight away for you and for anyone who shares your plan and has Pro through you, but if you are still within the 14-day period in clause 11, you can still ask us for a full refund.

30 Pro-only information when Pro ends

30.1 If your household no longer has access to the Pro Features, your plan moves to the Free Features. Your core plan stays available. Information that only the Pro Features use, such as extra scenarios and Pro-only settings, is hidden.

30.2 We will email you when this happens and again before we delete anything. If you do not start a new Subscription within 30 days, we will then delete the hidden information and it cannot be restored. Starting a new Subscription before it is deleted brings it back.

31 Whole agreement

31.1 These Terms, together with the Disclaimer and any feature-specific terms or consents you accept in the Platform (such as the Foresight consent, the plan-sharing consent, the AI import consent and the permission you give when you connect an AI assistant), make up the whole agreement between you and Wealthcast.
